Lifetime Training was established in 1995 by a truly inspirational founder, Heather Frankham who identified a gap in the active leisure training industry and created Lifetime as a training and consultancy business. “Our founding principle was to support individuals and businesses to perform better through the delivery of outstanding training programmes,” explained Amanda Nicholson-Hirst.
Beginning as a small team to deliver active leisure training, Lifetime has developed through organic growth to become one of the UK’s largest training providers. “Lifetime’s first recruited member of staff, who was also our first apprentice, is still with us today, and we now employ over 1,000 life-changing people,” Amanda said.
“We have expanded beyond the active leisure sector and now deliver work-based training across hospitality, management, business support services, retail, customer service and health & social care,” said Amanda. “We provide a fully managed service to meet the specific needs of our clients, with services including apprentice recruitment, levy modelling and planning, curriculum aligning, scoping sessions, bespoke branded marketing and innovative learning and reporting solutions.”
Lifetime Training provide award-wining apprenticeship training to 20,000 learners per year across almost 6,000 employer sites. “We support individuals and employers to perform better through the successful delivery of hospitality apprenticeships, improve service quality, staff efficiency, productivity and retention,” Amanda said. Lifetime’s range of hospitality apprenticeships are designed to develop the skills of front of house, back of house and leadership/management teams.
