Lifetime Training Sponsors of the Learning & Development category

Lifetime pledge to make Hospitality one of the most sought after places to work and build a career.

We are extremely excited to welcome Lifetime Training as sponsors of the Learning & Development category at this year’s People Awards. Sales Director, Neil Pattison said, “Having Lifetime Training on board as a sponsor of our People Awards is such a thrill for us. The team at Lifetime has taken hospitality training to a whole new level and we couldn’t be happier.”

Amanda Nicholson-Hirst, Operations Director for Hospitality at Lifetime Training said, “Investing in learning and development is a key part of retaining our staff and building a pipeline of future stars, and we wanted to take part in the celebration of the best talent initiatives in the UK Hospitality industry.”

Lifetime Training was established in 1995 by a truly inspirational founder, Heather Frankham who identified a gap in the active leisure training industry and created Lifetime as a training and consultancy business. “Our founding principle was to support individuals and businesses to perform better through the delivery of outstanding training programmes,” explained Amanda Nicholson-Hirst.

Beginning as a small team to deliver active leisure training, Lifetime has developed through organic growth to become one of the UK’s largest training providers. “Lifetime’s first recruited member of staff, who was also our first apprentice, is still with us today, and we now employ over 1,000 life-changing people,” Amanda said.

“We have expanded beyond the active leisure sector and now deliver work-based training across hospitality, management, business support services, retail, customer service and health & social care,” said Amanda. “We provide a fully managed service to meet the specific needs of our clients, with services including apprentice recruitment, levy modelling and planning, curriculum aligning, scoping sessions, bespoke branded marketing and innovative learning and reporting solutions.”

Apprenticeship Training

Lifetime Training provide award-wining apprenticeship training to 20,000 learners per year across almost 6,000 employer sites. “We support individuals and employers to perform better through the successful delivery of hospitality apprenticeships, improve service quality, staff efficiency, productivity and retention,” Amanda said. This is why education and professional development is so important; ensuring that people entering the world of work see hospitality as a career option not just a job.”
